I Did a Thing. New Phone, No Case.

First day out I went and got the brand new Apple iPhone 18 Pro Max. And I needed a case. The 360 Ring Holds a Heavy Phone

The metal ring rotates 360° and doesn’t sag under the heavier 18 Pro Max weight, it stays locked at whatever angle you set it. That was my one real question going in, because the 18 Pro Max is a little heavier phone and a lot of kickstands fold under that weight. This one doesn’t. I propped it up horizontal and vertical and it stayed at the angle I set it to, which is the part I never had before.

The ring is sturdy metal, not plastic pretending to be metal. You feel it when you flip it out. It also works as a grip and a hook, but the stand is the thing I use.

I didn’t think a brand new case that just came out for a brand new iPhone would do all that. They did a pretty good job engineering this one. My only friction point: I didn’t know the screen protector was in the box until I opened it, and the listing didn’t make that obvious to me when I ordered. Good surprise, but I’d have liked to know I wasn’t about to buy a second one separately.

MagSafe pass-through, camera carveouts, buttons

MagSafe charges straight through the metal ring with zero interference. That’s the part I was most worried about with a metal ring sitting on the back. Stick the charger on and it works, no interference. That’s not a given, plenty of metal ring cases block MagSafe entirely, which makes the charger wander or refuse to snap.

All three camera carveouts line up perfectly. Buttons on the side and the front all match up. The touchscreen works effortlessly through the tempered glass, no dead spots, no lifting at the edges, no bubbles when it went on.

What the money buys you here

One purchase covers the case, the stand, and a tempered glass screen protector, and the screen protector is the part that stings most when you buy it solo, usually $10, 15 before you’ve even used the phone. Worth checking the current price at the link, because this one is sitting right around its typical price for the last three months and close to the lowest it’s been tracked at.

It’s also moving. Amazon has it at #371 in Cell Phones & Accessories against a 90 day average near #1,636, so a lot more people have found it recently than were buying it a few months back. Popular cases for new iPhones tend to go in and out of stock in the good colors, so that’s the thing to watch more than the price.

Buy the color to match, and check your model

Just verify the exact variation before you buy: the 18 Pro Max, 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max are different sizes, and the listing splits them into separate options.
