Relacore Extra Review: Starting with One Tablet a Day

I'm cycling Relacore Extra into a 30-pound weight loss plan. 90 tablets, three recommended daily, and why I started with one.

Relacore Extra is worth a try if stress is the thing stalling your weight loss and you want a B-complex, magnesium, zinc and botanical blend in one tablet. It’s 90 tablets at three a day, so a bottle is a month. Cautious buy, not a miracle.

How this review was made: written from my own video review of this product. Every opinion here is my own, from using it myself.

Quick Verdict

90 tablets, three recommended a day, and I’m taking one. I don’t want to step into it too quick. What sold me wasn’t the belly fat pitch, it was the three-in-one: B vitamins, magnesium and zinc, plus the stress botanicals.

Buy if you:

  • Have a real weight loss goal and want one more thing in your arsenal
  • Exercise enough to worry about depleting magnesium and zinc
  • Want ashwagandha, magnolia bark and passion flower without buying three bottles
  • Already take a daily multi and want an extra push of C and B complex

I’m 30 Pounds From Where I Want to Be

That’s the number. Thirty pounds. And my exercise regimen right now is kind of one step up from Tai Chi walking, plus actual walking and a little bit of floor exercises. Nothing heroic. So the question I keep asking is, what can I put in my arsenal? Daily vitamins, a few supplements, and now I’m cycling Relacore Extra, which you can see on Amazon here, in to see what it does.

The bottle surprised me, 90 tablets fit in something I could fit in a carry-on. Green on green matching, label and cap. The tablets themselves are small too.

One a Day, Not Three

One a day, not three, that’s how I’m running it, and here’s why. Just because I don’t want to step into it too quick, and that’s how I handle anything new in the stack. It also means I’m not getting the label dose, so I’m not going to sit here and tell you the stress-belly claim worked when I’m at a third of what the bottle says.

What I was after was the on-ramp. I already know walking helps stress, I just need something that makes the first step out the door feel worth taking. If a tablet makes me feel slightly less flat in the morning, I move more. That’s the whole theory.

What’s Actually in the Tablet

B vitamins, magnesium, zinc on top; stress botanicals on bottom, that’s the split. Vitamin C for an extra push. Thiamin, riboflavin, niacin. Not enough of us get enough niacin, so I like seeing it in there. Then B6, folate, B12 and biotin, and biotin is great for hair and nails.

Then magnesium and zinc. If you’re exercising a lot, that’s something to really watch. You get depleted of some of those vitamins and minerals and you don’t notice until you feel flat.

The lower section is where the unique stuff lives. Magnolia bark, passion flower, ashwagandha, and the rest are kind of the botanical extracts aimed at mood and stress control. Combine that with the B vitamins and you’ve got a blend that’s doing a few jobs at once. That’s the part I like. If extra cortisol in body is the thing stalling your waistline, this is the category that’s aimed at it.

I’m not making a claim about belly fat. I’m giving it a try.

How Long a Bottle Lasts

Three a day turns 90 tablets into 30 days. That’s the math nobody puts on the front of the bottle. At my one-a-day pace I’m getting three months out of it, which is cheap per day, but I’m also not running the real protocol. Something to factor in before you decide this is a long-term line item. The price on this one also moves around quite a bit, so check the live number rather than assuming.

Opening It Was the Easy Part

Nothing to set up. Pop the seal, read the label, swallow a small tablet with water. The only decision is whether you go straight to three or ease in like I did. Easing in is what I’d suggest with anything containing ashwagandha, just so you know how you respond before you triple it.

Where It Sits Next to a Plain Multivitamin

The difference: a plain multi skips the ashwagandha, magnolia bark and passion flower entirely. That’s the real comparison here. You could buy ashwagandha, magnolia bark, and a B complex separately, and you’d get to choose the dose on each. The trade-off here is one small tablet instead of three separate bottles, but the label controls the ratios, not you. If any one of those botanicals is the thing you actually need more of, the bundle limits you. Amazon has it at #18,531 in Health & Household right now, up from a 90-day average around #26,824, with more than a thousand bought in the past month. People are buying it. That’s not the same as it working.

Who I’d Hand This To

Hand this to someone who’s already moving and wants one fewer gap in their stack, not someone shopping for a reason to skip the walk. The botanicals and B vitamins support what you’re doing; they don’t substitute for it. If your plan starts and ends with this bottle, the bottle will disappoint you.

Pros

  • Three in one for me: B complex and vitamin C, magnesium and zinc, plus the stress botanicals
  • Niacin and B12 at a level I was glad to see, since most of us run short on niacin
  • Small tablets in a pretty small bottle for 90 count, easy to travel with
  • Magnesium and zinc matter if you’re exercising and getting depleted

Cons

  • Three tablets a day means a 90-count bottle is gone in a month
  • I’m at one a day, so I can’t speak to the full-dose effect
  • Botanical amounts are bundled, so you can’t adjust ashwagandha independently

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you take it with a regular multivitamin?

You’d be doubling up on the C, B complex, zinc and magnesium, so check the combined totals before you stack both. I run daily vitamins alongside it but at one tablet, not three. Worth a quick look with your doctor at your annual physical.

Should it be taken with food?

Follow the label on the bottle, since the dosing instructions are printed right there. Zinc on an empty stomach bothers some people, so food is the safer default. I take mine with water in the morning.

Is it only for women?

I’m a guy taking it. Nothing in the ingredient list is gender-specific.

How should it be stored?

Cool and dry, cap sealed, same as any tablet supplement. The bottle is small enough to live in a cabinet or a carry-on. Keep the desiccant packet in there until the bottle’s done.
